TV TECH I and ADVANCED TELEVISION PRODUCTION
TV TECH I
This class is designed as an introductory course to the television production process with emphasis on studio programming. Students will be introduced to the basic concepts of script writing and on-camera communication skills. The student will also gain practical experience in camera, audio, lighting, and graphic design, and will learn how to operate all crew positions in a variety of studio lab projects.

ADVANCED TELEVISION PRODUCTION
Advanced Television Production will further enhance the student’s television production experience by combining the basic skills of camera operation and reporting techniques with the introduction of post-production editing methods. The end result will contain the elements required for planning, writing, producing, and editing advanced television programs. This course is designed to develop communication and TV journalism abilities, as well as shot composition, aesthetic considerations, and shooting for editing. Assignments for this course will be aired on THE MORNING SHOW as well as other venues. Other advanced courses include Video Production, IntermediateTelevision, Television Production Management, Advanced Television Levels I and II, and Senior Internship.

To recognize and trouble-shoot any technical difficulties while on-location.
Successfully perform a variety of post-production editing techniques.

Enhance the leadership skills of a television director / producer
Express themselves appropriately while appearing on-the-air.
